Alla Savashevich

“Stone is the most natural substance that is close to the land. Oginsky was the same organic and properly shaped natural figure at that time. He could be considered as a diplomat, or a composer, or a public figure at the same time. His talents and roles changed like masks, but at that he was always devoted to the homeland where he originated from”.

Alla Savashevich was in search of a congenial stone in the lands where Oginski had lived for about 20 years, near the village of Zalesie. Alla’s work reveals a dramatic, multi-layered life of Oginski. It displays both integrity and struggle within the nature of material and spiritual self of this extraordinary man.
